WLAN basierte Ortung: Ein Praxisbericht

This article describes the WLAN based indoor-locating by means of practical experience. Beside the infrastructure based on WLAN access points, the article also focuses on the server infrastructure and the database design. Concepts will be presented to increase the accuracy of the indoor-locating and to align to fluctuating environments. Also the use of different additional technologies on the terminal equipment for increasing the accuracy of the locating will be discussed. This article concludes with a discussion about converge of different indoor-locating technologies.
