Yeast: An Advanced Event Management System

This paper describes a new tool called Yeast (Yet another Event-Action Specification Tool), a computer system service that invokes frequently performed software development tasks. Users register event-action specifications with Yeast, which automatically invokes the specified action when it recognizes an occurrence of the specified event pattern. The action component of a specification is simply a sequence of commands.
