I am proud to share that Ethisphere has recognized Nokia as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies® for the tenth time.

At Nokia, our purpose is to be a trusted provider of secure and advanced connectivity.  An integral part of that promise is to carry out our business in an ethical manner. This award recognizes our commitment to a proactive and values-driven approach in driving responsible business practices, including issues related to the environment, ethics, human rights and the misuse of technology, particularly as we enter the age of the AI Supercycle.

This year is particularly special as it marks our 10th recognition, a remarkable milestone that serves as a powerful testament to our strong ethical culture and robust compliance program.  This prestigious award highlights the commitment of our leaders, employees and partners to operating with the highest standards of business ethics.

Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing ethical business practices, measures corporate ethical standards, recognizes ethical companies and promotes best practices in corporate ethics.  It evaluates and benchmarks companies on more than 200 data points, including ethical culture, environmental and social practices, policies and processes, governance and third-party management. This year’s 138 honorees span 17 countries and 40 industries.  Nokia is the only Finnish company and one of only two companies in our industry - Verizon being the other - to receive this honor in 2026.

Adhering to our values and staying true to our core principles is critical to Nokia’s success, setting us apart from our competitors and differentiating us in an increasingly complex marketplace. New technologies, like AI, not only create enormous opportunities but also introduce new ethical questions, placing unprecedented importance on privacy, security, transparency and accountability.

This award shows our dedication to integrity and responsible leadership amid a rapidly evolving technological landscape. As AI continues to transform infrastructure at an unprecedented pace, our emphasis on ethical decision-making strengthens stakeholder confidence and positions us to deliver sustainable value well into the future.

Ethical decision-making and compliance are more than just a set of rules — it’s the way we do business. Our teams are empowered to act with integrity every day, and our employees continue to prioritize responsible business practices and speak up when something doesn’t seem right.

Congratulations to all Nokians and thank you for embracing business ethics as a core Nokia value.
