Nokia Italy is the partner of reference for fixed and mobile telephone operators, companies, and public administrations, supporting them in the creation of mobile and fixed networks, optical and microwave transport and Cloud solutions.

With over a century of history in the country (Nokia’s roots in Italy date back to 1909), the company has contributed to the development of the main Italian communication infrastructures. 

The offices in Vimercate, Rome, Battipaglia, and Trieste host research, design, sales, installation, and maintenance activities for both fixed and mobile access and transport networks, in addition to the development of applications and network solutions.

Italy represents a strategic hub for Nokia, and in particular, the R&D laboratories in Vimercate specialize in optical transport networks and microwave radio links, where innovative technologies for global markets are developed.

Our internship programs – lasting from 6 months to 1 year – are available both as curricular internships for university students working on their thesis, and as extracurricular internships for recent graduates ready to start their professional journey.

Your profile

 

  • English language at the working proficiency level
  • Motivation and passion
  • You have attended a technical school or you hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related physical science field, depending on the role
  • For curricula internships, you are enrolled in a course in an Italian university or an Italian school
  • Additional requirements depend on the role you’re applying for
