Nokia Event-Driven Automation (EDA) Fundamentals

Course number: OP00495
Course duration: 2 days
Price: €1,600

Course overview

This 2-day hands-on course introduces students to Nokia’s Event Driven Automation (EDA) platform. The training will cover how EDA leverages Kubernetes concepts to automate the network configuration and operations in a data center.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to define, deploy and operate a data center network using EDA’s declarative, intent-based approach.

Course objectives

After completing the course, students should be able to:

•   Explain the intent-based framework approach
•   Describe how EDA supports intent-based automation of the data center fabric
•   Understand how EDA builds on Kubernetes
•   Explain EDA node onboarding, including ZTP
•   Describe the workflow for deploying a fabric intent with EDA
•   Describe the workflow to deploy Layer 2 and Layer 3 workload intents with EDA
•   Use EDA to monitor the data center fabric state and ensure intent alignment
