A New Generation of AI-RAN Ready Radios

The new Doksuri Radios represent a significant leap forward in performance, energy efficiency, and deployment simplicity. Built on a next-generation System-on-Chip (SoC), Doksuri Radios bring advanced intelligence into the radio, positioning it as a foundational component in Nokia’s AI-RAN strategy. 

Doksuri radios offer over 30% greater power efficiency and are up to 25% lighter than previous generations. That helps in reducing site footprint and lowering operating costs. With flexible power allocation technology, high power can be flexibly allocated to provide even better coverage and performance. All Nokia RRH are ideal for deployment in conjunction with our modular Interleaved Passive Active Antenna (IPAA⁺) radio solutions enabling space efficient multi-radio access technology, multiband site solutions.

AirScale radios integrate the latest design innovations and technologies including integrated Passive Inter-Modulation (PIM) cancellation. It enables consistently high performance without the need for additional hardware. This feature is integrated into both our single-band and multiband radios.

With compact and easy-to-deploy form factors, AirScale radios match the needs of all types of sites. They have a wide variety of mounting options, including Nokia’s unique ‘One-clip’ rail mount system. The easy-to-use One-clip system helps speed up deployments, ensuring that the site is “on-air” as soon as possible. Quicker and easier deployments and faster time to market can be achieved by reducing radio installation time even up to 70%.

Our Osprey 8 TDD remote radio heads use the same Nokia ReefShark System-on-Chip (SoC) technology as Osprey 32 and Osprey 64 Massive MIMO radios. This ensures consistently high performance and energy efficiency.
